Actually, I realized in the 1980 s that I light a cigarette everytime I have a negative thought. Maybe, that's why the anti smoking freaks can't make any progress. They repeat the same jargon endlessly. Big Tobacco? No. Most of the price of a package of cigarettes is tax. Big tobacco? No. The US produces about 5% of the worlds tobacco. Yes, it was once a major industry for America but Big Government impaired the industry, along with other industries like steel. Government seems to be going after the fast food industry now.

I see this in my Toronto (Ontario, Canada) hypnosis practice all the time, and there are not a lot of people that really understand this. Congratulations on a great post.

I'd like to add that before quitting people should first take time to really FEEL how smoking REALLY makes them feel. If they pay attention, they notice the burning in the lungs, throat, and mouth and that smoking doesn't provide any REAL comfort. This helps take away the positive forward push for cigarettes and makes it easer to make the focus clean lungs and a healthy life.

Keep up the good work.
